MEET THE STAFF
SHERI STILSON
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Sheri brings two decades of experience in entertainment, event production, and television. She began her career in staging for professional sports and theme parks and later produced reality, competition, and game shows for major networks including HGTV, FOX, CBS, Bravo, MTV, Warner Brothers, and Animal Planet. She also served as Event Supervisor at LEGOLAND California Resort, overseeing large-scale seasonal and educational events.
CHEYENNE LAVIOLETTE
PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Cheyenne serves as Program Director for STN, bringing a passion for student storytelling and media education. Since 2019, she has taught broadcasting and filmmaking, growing her school's media program from 18 students per semester to nearly 200 while leading students to success at the local, regional, and national levels, including numerous STN awards. As both a former STN adviser and Regional Ambassador, she is dedicated to helping advisers build successful, thriving programs.
BRIANA MOODY
OPERATIONS & PROGRAMS ASSISTANT
Briana is an arts administrator and event coordinator with experience in higher education, nonprofit programming, and human resources. An STN alum, she helped her high school earn first place at the 2008 Convention. She recently completed her Master's degree at Texas Tech University, and brings a background that includes HR talent coordination, customer engagement, and live event production, with leadership roles at Disney Cruise Line, Castle Theatre, and her own performance company.
JOSH CANTRELL
EDUCATION COORDINATOR
Josh teaches broadcast journalism and film production at Central High School in Springfield, MO, where he leads the award-winning Central Intelligence broadcast program and 1893 Productions film program. His students have earned top honors at STN conventions and national film festivals for their creativity, technical skill, and storytelling. In 2015, he founded the Central Film Festival, now one of the nation's largest student film festivals, attracting entries from around the world.
SHONDA TINDALL
CREATIVE MANAGER
Shonda spent 18 years as a journalism and media arts teacher before joining the STN staff in 2020. She became involved with STN in 2006 and quickly embraced its mission, transforming the culture of her video production program. From 2008 to 2020, she served on the STN Board of Directors, contributing to the organization’s growth and vision. In addition to her teaching career, she has extensive experience as a freelance photographer, graphic designer, and video producer.
