Student Television Network is excited to announce our plans regarding our future convention locations. Starting in 2025, we will be implementing an East Coast/West Coast rotation for our national convention.
One of the primary reasons for implementing a rotation is to combat the skyrocketing hotel costs that have become a challenge in recent years. By securing long-term deals with our partner hotels and cities, we can keep the costs for our members as low as possible for the long term. This decision was made after careful review of the financial impact on both our attendees and STN, and our commitment to providing an affordable convention experience while still protecting STN’s resources for the future.
After careful consideration and an extensive search of numerous cities around the country, we have decided on the following locations:
Tampa Convention Center - Tampa Bay, Florida: March 1-4, 2025
Tampa Convention Center - Tampa Bay, Florida: February 28-March 3, 2026
Long Beach Convention Center - Long Beach, California: March 18-21, 2027
Tampa Convention Center - Tampa Bay, Florida: March 18-21, 2028
Long Beach Convention Center -Long Beach, California: March 8-11, 2029
We have chosen Tampa Bay and Long Beach based on their excellent facilities, accessibility, and the numerous opportunities they offer for our attendees. By alternating between the East Coast and West Coast, we aim to allow teachers predictable planning, grow attendance, reach a wider audience and develop a stable group of resources and vendors for STN and its members.
